Kiwi Spirit II Christened

With these words "I name this vessel Kiwi Spirit II. May she be blessed and all who sail on her. Please bring Stanley home safe to me. Yeah!" Catherine Paris (Patla) christened the yacht and released the champagne to smash on the foredeck.

A grand party followed with some eighty in attendance providing Stanley with the opportunity to thank all involved in the design build and execution of the yacht. Given the strict drink driving laws in Germany many slept overnight at the yard but not on Kiwi Spirit II as the berths are not yet in place.
