After 27 days including two days rest we reach Florida and a days rest! Catherine is off running as she has the Kentucky Marathon coming up and I am lying in bed resting my butt and limbs. Did a 112 miles yesterday. We have shaved some miles off the route by excluding ourselves to busier highways rather than some ridiculous meandering through state parks and poorly maintained but quieter back roads. We have seen great scenery - now it's about getting to St. Augustine. Bikes will be serviced today and we have an early big dinner tonight and an early start tomorrow. There were times when I wondered if I could go every mile. Now I have no doubts barring an incident we will finish next Tuesday. My son Stan has sagged Hilmir Augustsson and my wife Catherine me. Can't thank them enough.
