Tomorrow Austin, TX and the 2nd rest day. Yesterday I cycled 121 miles to Camp Wood and made up for wind delays. Today I awoke to thunder and downpour again. Weird weather system for this time of the year. Completed 85 today against head winds, rain at times and rough road surfaces to Kerrville, TX. Seeing antelope, vultures feasting on pig carcass and sheep. There is mostly no cell service so we have difficulty in staying in touch between riders and SAG (support and gear) vehicles.
